2x Sorby Adams Reverend Canon Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
There's a reason this has become THE Mofo fave Barossa shiraz: it’s powerful, opulent and complex. It's ripe, rich and raring to go. This is completely astounding value, Mofo. This is the style of shiraz that made the world take notice of this ripper region. Simon 'Sorby' Adams is the master craftsman behind this wine (can you say, ex-head winemaker at Yalumba?), so it's no surprise that this is a seriously high calibre wine. Rich expressions of blackberry, plum, chocolate, spices and cedar from the use of 30% new French oak. After four years cellaring time, it’s drinking beautifully now, but has another decade of prime left in it for those patient types. This one is a bestseller for a reason, we invite you to find out for yourself.
You’d pay $75 full price.

2x Auld Family Wines 'The Ernie' Single Vineyard Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
96 points and a 4.2 Vivino Rating are absolutely nothing to shake a stick at. All the hallmarks of classic Barossa shiraz are right here. Generous, bold and packed full of flavour, we're unbelievably stoked with how this vintage is drinking (already)!
The Barossa Valley is home to quite a few multi-generational wine families. There are legacies as far as the eye can see, stretching across the Barossa plains and rooted as deep as the oldest vineyards. The Aulds are one such family, with the current generation Sam and Jock paying tribute to their lineage who were planting Australian vineyards in the mid 1800's. Each sip tells a story of sun-soaked vineyards, family traditions, and a relentless pursuit of quality. After the first taste of Ernie shiraz you won't be looking back.
You’d pay $65 full price.

2x Pertaringa 'Belonging to the Hills' Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
The Pertaringa name is no stranger to the Aussie household. The iconic Hardy family are to wine what vegemite is to toast: a perfect match. So, to land this beauty from the hands of Bec Hardy is monumental for us, and we couldn't be more pleased. This is McLaren Shiraz through and through, with densely packed dark chocolate and fresh roasted coffee exploding on the nose. The palate follows through just as true, layered with preserved plums, dark forest berries and a lick of vanillin softness. There's one word for this wine, and it's awesome.

2x Pirramimma Heritage Limited Edition Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
This wine needs no introduction. The much awaited 2022 vintage of this absolute mofo fave. We’re talking about a bold, powerful, smooth red wine that's flown out the door almost as quickly as it comes in. If you don’t know by now, we think it’s time for you to loop yourself in. This Limited Edition shiraz comes from the best rows of their famous “War Horse” and “Ironstone” blocks. The vines are old and what they lack in quantity (yield), they make up for in superb quality. Full bodied, but balanced with pepper and spice, there are just so many layers to discover in this wine. Laden with luscious, ripe blackberries, earthy blackcurrants, mocha, hints of cedar and a dollop of liquorice, you’re in for a treat with this divine, velvety red.

2x Lou Miranda Estate Golden Lion Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
In the glass, the colour is a deep crimson red and there’s lifted aromas of plum, pepper, vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate is full and generous with dark fruits, interwoven spice and savoury tannins. With Angela Miranda at the helm of the winemaking, this is one well made wine. There's a good dose of American oak in the ageing regime on this, adding a touch of coconut and further vanilla to the wine. It’s ready to go with a big ole’ steak right now or will happily nap in your cellar for 15 years. This big boy is here for you now and in the future.
You’d pay $50 full price.
