Why do we love this case?

Our mofo’s have spoken! It ain’t rocket science to pull up a list of our best sellers, put those together in a case, and then offer it up to you. So no need to pat us on the back. We’re doing the obvious here, simply stuff really. These are your favourite wines combined into a half dozen that is sure to be your favourite reds pack. We’ve got a Shiraz worth $120, a mofo fave Cab Sauv worth $75 and more...all squashed into a pack you buy for $149 - thats more than a 67% discount! No need to think on this one, just buy...

Included in this case:

1x Reschke RSR Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Red — Cabernet Sauvignon

Coonawarra — Australia

We’ve now seen many a ripper vintage of this baby. It’s one deal that flies out the door and into your kitchen. For those in the know, you're never disappointed once you pull the cork. A cellar release with a lucky 8 years of evolution - give it a burl, and you’ll see that it is only starting to touch its prime drinking window. Usually exclusive to the wine producer’s database, this trickles out to us only when we are lucky, somehow our charming wine buyers have managed to get on that lucky list.

Boisterous tannins that have mellowed to a brooding, silky palate, with chunky fruit joined by herbaceous and somewhat meaty notes. There’s still classic cabernet cassis and blackberry, which is accompanied by rosemary, thyme and a long and savoury finish. Be quick, mofo - you too should be so lucky!

You’d pay $75 full price.

1x Pirramimma Geoff Johnston Milestone Shiraz 2020

Red — Shiraz

McLaren Vale — Australia

Geoff Johnston, an absolute icon of McLaren Vale. To know his name is to know the region, thanks to the devotion of talented and hard working wine growers, a collective who single-handedly put this unassuming beachside region on a global stage. In honour of his 50th vintage, this wine speaks to Geoff’s character: determined, endearing, and engaging.

Geoff planted shiraz with his old man ‘Digby’ back in 1971, and today, this block of vines shows so much character reminiscent of time and place. Shiraz like this is knee-weakeningly good. Upfront dark fruits; plums and blackberries, carried along with mocha tones before reaching peaks of vanilla and spice (and all things nice). Just like the person it celebrates, this wine is all about a father and his son’s legacy. A celebration of family, in the wine game for the long haul.

You’d pay $60 full price.

1x Haselgrove Cul Stor Shiraz Cabernets 2021

Red — Shiraz

McLaren Vale — Australia

Multiple vintages of Haselgrove's Cul Stor shiraz blend have rushed into our warehouse and zoomed straight back out and to your front door faster than you can say ‘shiraz blended with cab sav and a splash of cab franc’. At its core, we have all the plush dark berries, plums and chocolatey goodness that you’d expect from Mclaren Vale. But the blend of cabernets is what lifts this drop way above entry level, firm tannins and a liveliness on the back palate provide wonderful length and serious structure; perfect to pair with your good old fashioned Sunday roast lamb with all the trimmings.

You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Lights Valley Colonel Shiraz 2016

Red — Shiraz

Barossa Valley — Australia

Wowee. If there was ever a wine that almost overflows with grandeur, this is well and truly it. Aged Barossa shiraz: big, heavy, and bold. Something you can say about the wine and the package it comes in. This right here. This is the stuff mofo. This has been carefully guarded in the Lights Valley cellar until now, but they figured it was finally time to send it off to loving homes (ahem, that's us!). Genuinely deep and robust, the Colonel shiraz seems to have a never-ending palate of intrigue. Blackberry and liquorice dance with vanilla and a pantry full of baking spices. Do us a favour and savour every drop, it's worthy of the attention.

You’d pay $120 full price.

1x Powell & Son' The Blend' Shiraz 2020

Red — Shiraz

Barossa Valley — Australia

Just when we thought Powell & Sons couldn’t impress us more, they raised the bar higher than it’s ever been before. This seems too good to be true, right? We’re pinching ourselves too: it’s not every day that you get the best sub-regions of the Barossa (Marananga playing a big part of that), with the fruit of each vineyard separately nurtured and carefully blended after 18 months ageing in French oak. The name says it all, but this isn’t just any blend. It’s the royal king of blends. All shiraz. All star fruit. All the best oak. All in one neat little parcel. If this doesn’t tickle your fancy, truly nothing will.

You’d pay $80 full price.

1x Archery Road Longbow Shiraz 2019

Red — Shiraz

Barossa Valley — Australia

From the prized southern part of the sun-drenched Barossa, steeped in quality grown shiraz (you know we’ve done the research) It’s right here, where the surrounding views offer the picture-perfect painting; a diversity of colours from the tree leaves to the soils, which in turn give our favourite grape - shiraz - all the lashings of character we as adults have grown to become obsessed with. A blend of hand-selected low-yielding parcels, you’ll find generous flavours of black fruit, olive and pepper spice, backed by silky tannins, yet the wine is intense on the palate, with a great depth and length. Such a complex finish, and a damn fine gem of a shiraz.

You’d pay $80 full price.
