1x Brokenwood Hunter Valley Shiraz 2022

Red — Shiraz

Hunter Valley — Australia

This is Hunter Valley shiraz in its base form. If anyone does a good Hunter shiraz (and they do), it's Brokenwood. Medium-to-full-bodied, savoury-leaning and built on balance rather than brute force - exactly how the region likes it. It’s drinking beautifully now, but there’s no rush. Give it time and it’ll reward you with even more nuance and polish. A top vintage, serious vineyard credentials and a shiny gold medal to back it up - this is proper Hunter shiraz for people who actually like Hunter shiraz. Perfect with duck, veal, or a good wedge of cheese and zero distractions.

You'd pay $55 full price.

1x Ben Murray Wines Estate Grenache 2023

Red — Grenache

Barossa — Australia

The fruit for this hottie was sourced from 63 to 100-year-old vines in the famed Marananga sub-region of Barossa. Destemmed (with 20% stalks added - it is grenache after all), matured in seasoned French oak and shipped off all around the country to be enjoyed by thirsty little Mofos like us! Seems simple enough right? Wrong! This is where the nuance comes in, the slope of the Marananga hills, the soil type, the brand of the barrels and, most importnantly, the know-how of the winemaker. Luck for us this winemaker knows everything there is to know about the land, the soil, the barrels and whatever else you could possibly think of. A smart wine made by a smart, albeit mysterious, man!

You'd pay $50 full price.

1x Craneford Tribeca GSM 2023

Red — GSM

Barossa — Australia

Bright red and dark berries shape the palate, lifted by a ripple of spice and the natural generosity of the varieties. The fruit sits plush and mouthfilling, but the structure stays firm enough to keep everything in line. Soft tannins and a gentle warmth round it out, giving the wine an easy sense of flow. Bold, balanced and thoroughly crowd pleasing, it hits the sweet spot between richness and drinkability.

1x Gitanos Errantes del Pueblo Malbec 2020'

Red — Malbec

Argentina — Argentina

2020 threw a proper dry season at Mendoza, and this Malbec is the result of the vines toughing it out - concentrated, punchy fruit that's found its way into a wine bursting with youthful energy. Cinnamon-spiced mocha and fresh blackberry and plum float out of the glass, with a whisper of something like grandpa's pipe tobacco drifting in behind it. On the palate: blackberry, blackcurrant, plum and morello cherry, all wrapped in a dark chocolate lining, with fine, chewy tannin that lingers long after the last sip.

You'd pay $33 full price.

1x Pindarie Western Ridge Shiraz 2023

Red — Shiraz

Barossa — Australia

This is Barossa shiraz possessing both muscle and manners. Deeply coloured, seriously expressive and stacked with medals and awards, it comes from a prime Western Ridge patch that consistently delivers the goods. Structure, balance and confidence. No tricks. Just a seriously well-made shiraz that hits the brief beautifully. As soon as you pop the top, the aromatics set the tone straight away. Blackberry and dark cherry lead, followed by black olive, baking spice and a savoury edge that keeps things interesting. French oak is there, but it’s tucked in neatly - adding shape and subtle toast without getting in the way. On the palate, it’s full-flavoured but controlled. Rich fruit runs deep, tannins are firm yet silky, and everything flows into a long, composed finish that hangs around in the best way. It’s drinking beautifully now with a bit of air, but there’s plenty under the hood if you feel like laying it down. Great wine.

You'd pay $32 full price.

1x Reschke R-Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Red — Cabernet Sauvignon

Limestone Coast — Australia

The Limestone Coast has a knack for turning out cabernet with polish, Coonawarra is a sub-region here after all. From an excellent vintage, this gorgeous release is vibrant, fruit-driven, and packed with purity - a cabernet that proves elegance doesn’t mean lacking flavour. A medium-to-full-bodied cabernet loaded with red currant, cherry, and a hint of dark chocolate. Smooth, elegant, and ready to drink now - with a decade of life ahead. The palate is round and plush, carrying those berry flavours on fine, silky tannins. Oak plays a subtle, but important, supporting role, neatly integrated and never overdone. It’s a stylish cabernet, and it's drinking beautifully right now, but if you’re patient, it’ll keep evolving over the next ten years or so. Whether you’re cracking it midweek or stashing a few for the cellar, this one nails that balance of immediate enjoyment and future reward.

You'd pay $20 full price.

1x Serafino Wines Goose Island Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Red — Cabernet Sauvignon

McLaren Vale — Australia

This is one of those sleeper-value Cabernets that totally overdelivers. It’s bright, juicy and full of presence — loaded with blackcurrant, plum and a touch of spice that gives it a polished, modern feel. The balance hits that sweet spot: generous fruit, smooth tannins and a clean finish that makes it far too easy to go back for more. It’s crafted with real attention to detail, the kind you usually only see at a much higher price point. If you want something that tastes premium but drinks like an everyday hero, this is exactly that.

1x Flint River Vineyard Polish Hill Riesling 2024

White — Riesling

Clare Valley — Australia

Polish Hill proves, yet again, that it produces the most age-worthy riesling in the country (if not the world). The nose is alive with green apple, jasmine florals and zesty lime, with a flinty mineral edge that sets the tone. On the palate, it’s taut and vibrant – layers of kaffir lime, citrus rind and Granny Smith apple carried on a cool, slatey minerality. Clare Valley riesling, firing on all cylinders.

1x Hewitson Lulu Blanc 2024

White — White Blend

Barossa — Australia

Your new favourite summer smasher is here... and it's got some serious pedigree! From one of the most respected producers in the Barossa off one the oldest muscat blanc vines in the country (not to be confused with sticky wines called 'muscat') - this is a dry, bright, light, zippy wine that's as refreshing as it is alluring! This one’s built on some seriously old bones. We’re talking 95% Barossa muscat blanc à petits grains from vines pushing 170 years (yep, oldest in the country), with a splash of sauvignon blanc (5%) thrown in to dial up the aromatics. Old vines, young attitude - this is all about drinking it fresh and lively. The nose keeps things clean and subtle: soft yellow fruits, a flick of grassiness and just enough intrigue to pull you in. Then the palate kicks on. Zippy lemon and lime lead the charge, backed by hints of pineapple, ginger and a gentle tropical whisper. The acidity is crisp and refreshing, keeping everything tight, juicy and dangerously easy to drink. Youthful, vibrant and bursting with flavour - proof that even 170-year-old vines can still party.

1x Credaro Five Tales Pinot Grigio 2025

White — Pinot Grigio

Margaret River — Australia

From internationally renowned producer, Credaro, this bright and vivacious grigio is more than just a welcome guest at the party, it IS the party. Hot days and warm nights for call for good company, good food and a good bottle of grigio. A natural citrus-like acidity creates a launching point for a swirl of green fruits (think fresh apple and crunchy pear) and zesty minerality. Classically grigio in every way but extremely modern in its vibrancy and youthful flare. An extremely versatile wine that, as we said, is best enjoyed with friends and family, out of an esky, looking at a sunset but if we're being honest, it also works great at home and after sun-down. In the words of the immortal Shakira, "Wherever, whenever".

You'd pay $26 full price.

1x Lange Estate TSR Sauvignon Blanc 2025

White — Sauvignon Blanc

Great Southern — Australia

This represents sauvignon blanc at its most expressive and food-friendly, perfect for immediate drinking when the aromatics are at their peak and the acidity provides maximum refreshment. The nose hits hard with ripe citrus and passionfruit, lifted by a hint of lemongrass that adds herbal complexity. These aren't subtle aromatics - they're bold and expressive, announcing the wine's character immediately. On the palate, juicy gooseberry and guava flavours dominate, enhanced by herbal nuances that add layers without overwhelming the primary fruit. What really impresses is the balance - there's a subtle textural edge that provides weight and interest, while mouthwatering acidity drives everything forward to a long, crisp finish.

You'd pay $25 full price.
