Why do we love this case?
We see some of Australia's greatest pinots at the tasting bench. After countless tastings and plenty of robust debate, we've eventually settled on a line-up of wines that represent the highest-quality, most-awarded and, very importantly, most delicious, pinot noir on offer. From the cool shores of Tassie to the rolling hills of Yarra and everything in between- we've got you covered.
1x Chain of Ponds The Cachet Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Deeply complex yet completely accessible - there's something in the water up in the Adelaide Hills. Fruit-forward and brightly perfumed, this wine is immediately inviting and instantly gratifying. For those who go searching, however, there's layered, complex, treasures to be found in every sip. Sophisticated, intricate and alluring, this wine opens with layered aromas of ripe cherry, wild strawberry, and red currant, underscored by subtle spice and a whisper of roasted nuts - very typical of Adelaide Hills pinot. On the palate, vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins provide structure and poise, seamlessly woven into the generous red fruit core. A delicate touch of oak adds nuance without overshadowing the wine’s expressive character. We're big on this wine, Halliday's big on this wine and we're fairly certain that you'll be big on this wine too.

Tasting Notes
1x Punch Wines Lance's Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019
Red — Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley — Australia
A dark and brooding expression of the Yarra. With fruit from vines dating back to 1976, 10% whole bunches and 8 months in 35% new oak, the crew at Punch have pulled out all the stops here. Powerful and concentrated black and red fruit with a distinctive lick of oak, velvety tannins and a beautiful, somewhat spicy, finish. A bit of a serious wine and one that will definitely go the distance if you're inclined to age your pinots. Seriously good stuff.
You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Bell & Gong ‘Valleyfield Vineyard’ Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Tasmania — Australia
This is a pinot that doesn’t tread lightly, it kicks the door in and announces its presence with a cheeky grin, from the moment you pop the top. A full-fruited, open-knit pinot with plenty enough complexity to keep things interesting. Hard to put down, dangerously easy to fall in love with. Typically Tasmanian pinot noir, in every way. Deep and dark in the glass, it opens with black cherry, plum sauce and a hint of game, layered over forest floor, caramel brittle and rose petal. It's aromatically plush and compelling from the first swirl. On the palate? A generous rush of mulberry, raspberry and dark chocolate with star anise and earthy undertones. Plush fruit leads the way, but it's the silky tannins and slick acidity that give this wine shape and serious length. Gutsy but graceful, fantastic stuff.
You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Kellybrook Edenesque Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley — Australia
A blend of hand-picked pinot noir grapes from 3 Upper-Yarra sites, the Siwa, the Willowlake and the Full Moon vineyards. If you've spent any time in or around the Yarra then you know those names. You know their reputation. You know what that fruit is capable of. All on display in this gorgeous bottle of wine. A vibrant ruby red in the glass that draws you in, then an aromatic hit that’s all about freshness and finesse. Think juicy raspberry and dark cherries, with little hints forest floor. The palate takes it up a notch - those bright red fruits are joined by sweet spice, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and a gentle lick of toasty French oak. It’s layered, lively and dangerously drinkable. A beautiful balance of fruit and finesse.
You’d pay $35 full price.
