1x Adeus White Blend 2021
White — White Blend
Ribeiro DO — Spain
You may have heard of Galicia in Spain’s far northwest. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea, there’s no doubt that maritime influences are what this region is all about. Zoom into the region of Ribeiro, nestled between Rias Baixas and Ribeira Sacra, where fresh, floral whites thrive and provide genuine value. Treixadura and torrontés make up this white blend. Treixa-what and torro-who? Just think the best aromatics of riesling and sauv blanc mingled with the body of a warm region chardonnay. Delicate on its feet, but delivering a punch. This may seem like a shy wine, but it’ll show you its confident side.

1x Twin Valleys Fiano 2022
White — Fiano
King Valley — Australia
Fiano is one of the newer Italian arrivals on the scene and we couldn’t be happier that it’s here. Fiano is a versatile grape and suits a lot of growing conditions, from the Mediterranean climate of McLaren Vale to the alpine freshness of the King Valley. This KV example is a touch lighter and brighter than what you’d get from the Vale - sitting closer to grigio than say, viognier. There is still heaps of fruit and florals in this wine and acid to accompany all sorts of foods - though no doubt best with something southern Italian.

1x Wanted Man Wines Marsanne Rousanne Viognier 2013
White — White Blend
Heathcote — Australia
I won’t lie, the first time I tried this wine I was sceptical. I had, in my head, what I imagined would be a flabby and past-its-best wine. Boy, could I have been more wrong? This is electric, exciting, exotic and bursting with life. A great contender for even some of the most polished Rhône white blends (from which this wine gains its inspiration). A firecracker in the mouth, you’ll be able to find all the classic ‘aged’ notes of honeycomb, almonds, toasted walnuts, and perhaps a bit of hay. But then it’s so much more, still showing fresh stone fruit and a citrus core that will not give up the ghost. I’ll proudly admit that this wine proved me wrong, and took home the trophy.

1x Fika Ancestral Method Pet Nat 2022
Sparkling — Sparkling White
Nagambie Lakes — Australia
The popularity of ‘pét nat’ is worth every sparkling wine lovers attention. A choose-your-own-adventure kind of bubbles, where you get to play James Bond in deciding how to best sip your wine. Shaken or stirred? Cloudy or clear? With ‘ancestral method’ aka. pét nat- you decide.
A sparkling made entirely by riesling - a pretty rare find in Australia. Floral and crisp, this has catapulted its way to earning a designated spot in the mofo HQ fridge. 100% riesling that’s fermented in the bottle, and released super young to keep it fun and refreshing. Think of it as a little more ‘craft beer’ than classic champagne, and never mind the cloudiness. Consider it natures way of proving sometimes an artisanal approach, or ‘minimal intervention’ can often achieve the best outcome. Perfect for sunny afternoons, picnics and instagram posts.
You’d pay $27 full price.

1x Santolin Cosa Nostra Arneis 2020
White — Arneis
Yarra Valley — Australia
A lively little Victorian - this is a beautiful expression of arneis that we can’t wait for you to try. Lemon zest, green apple, and pear combine for a punchy and fresh aroma. There’s beeswax and almond meal that adds another dimension to the tart fruit profile, all of which is underscored by a nutty spice and a bit of ocean spray. This is really versatile wine - drink with soft cheese, any shellfish, or (our recommendation) fish and chips. It’s so bright and cleansing and unfussy that it will go with just about anything, anytime. That, for us, is what winning wines are made of!
You’d pay $25 full price.

1x Swings & Roundabouts Chenin Blanc 2022
White — Chenin Blanc
Margaret River — Australia
This is about as safe a bet as there is in Margaret River. Swings and Roundabouts consistently produces excellent wines that toe the line between ripe fruit and vivid acidity. They nail their chardonnays, and if a winemaker has a deft hand with chardies, you’re almost guaranteed an excellent chenin blanc. This is luscious without being overpowering, fresh without lacking complexity. It’s a cracking example of how Margaret River delivers on its quality promise, time and again.
You’d pay $24 full price.
