This is classic for Margs; pear drop, honeysuckle, and a hint of vanilla at the fore, then gaining complexity as it comes up to room temperature. Think quince, ripe pear, preserved lemon, and a little brioche. A precise, confident expression of Margaret River chenin.

Tangy pear and apple, bright preserved lemon, salty sherbet and a slippery zesty finish. Light, fresh, yum!

The bouquet on this is to die for. So pointedly floral and lifted. White and yellow flowers and buzzy summer blossom lead the wine, with citrus fruits marking the mid-palate through to the finish. A broad, imposing palate with peppy acidity offering reprieve - this is a well balanced, sure thing crowd pleaser.

This 1 litre sized field-blend of pinot grigio, fiano and sav blanc is bright, lively and elegant with aromas of fruit salad and tinned peaches. Its light-bodied palate is fun and fruity, dangerously delicious and perfectly paired with sunshine, friends and all of the finger-food your heart can handle. Picpoul is the keystone to southern France's wine landscape - and by that I mean, it's bloody everywhere. There's good reason, too - it's delicious, fun, easy going, and broadly appealing. The peppy acidity gives it freshness and drive, while the white and yellow fruit aromatics are lively and mouthwatering. I am a huge fan of 'anytime' wines that can wear any hat and please any palate, and this is unequivocally one of them.

Based out of the Clare Valley, Marnie Roberts is a dedicated winemaker who chooses specific vineyards that speak to her love of fun, easy going wine. That’s our kind of winemaker! This fiano walks the line of green tropical fruits and preserved citrus, making it approachable on its own, or as the Italians would enjoy it - with food (we’re thinking seafood is called for). There’s a reason why fiano is becoming such a popular variety in Australia, and with this in our glasses, it’s easy to see why.
