1x Gomersal Wines Rosevale Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Denmark
Gomersal Wines are right in the heart of it, the famed terroir of the Barossa Valley. Surprise surprise, they make pretty good shiraz. This is the kind of wine you can open without hesitation, and it’ll deliver on all its promises. Deeply coloured, and richly flavoured. The palate is fleshy with all the fruits from plum to black cherry to raspberry. You’re doing things right if you get some charred things on your dinner- whether that be meat or vegetables. Lean into the comforts, and enjoy without restraint.

1x Pertaringa Lakeside Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
McLaren Vale — Denmark
Pertaringa are no strangers to the wine game, and we're sure they're no strangers to you either. Started by Geoff Hardy, now in the hands of his daughter Bec Hardy, it's apparent that no matter the wine, this brand smashes the quality out of the park. This cabernet comes off a few blocks, and serves up juicy black fruits and densely packed coffee and tobacco notes. This is one heavy-hitter, no wonder Wine Enthusiast named this amongst their top 100 wines of 2021. This is a slam-dunk of a wine.
You’d pay $22 full price.

1x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Denmark
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

1x Patrick Lesec Richette Côtes du Rhone 2016
Red — Grenache Blend
Côtes du Rhône — France
2016 was a banger year across the Southern Rhône. There are great reds up and down the scale in terms of appellation and price. This here is a great example of that. So much fruit, so much palate weight, so much smoothness.
You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Thistledown Wild & Wilder 'The Unforgettable' GSM 2022
Red — GSM
South Australia — Denmark
GSM - the ‘Holy Trinity’ of South Aussie reds. It’s the simple, but pleasing harmony of the blend that is nearly better than the sum of its parts. This is a ripe and succulent red that shows off the best of all three varieties. Grenache brings red berries, plums and a bit of warmth. Shiraz adds spice and acid. And then mataro contributes a wonderfully floral nose and its famous inky colour. This is a solid and tasty version of the blend, sure to please fans of the style
You’d pay $22 full price.

1x Amicus Rosé 2022
Rosé
McLaren Vale — Denmark
All sorts of highs to be had here, not least of which is a high level of enjoyability. Fresh, zesty, and a little pithy just for good balance and good measure. Think about biting into a perfectly ripe white peach, some rose petals mingling with some raspberry and red apples in the background. All of this in an immensely affordable drop of rosé, you do the math.
You’d pay $26 full price.

1x Atlas Wines Section 32 Riesling 2022
White — Riesling
Clare Valley — Denmark
When we find a treasure that our mofos love, we keep going back for more. Here’s the fourth vintage of this Clare riesling that we’ve featured and the first three were a roaring success. It comes from one of the rising stars of the region and hits all the notes you’ve come to expect. It’s bursting with citrus, minerality and texture. Riesling from Clare is renowned for its bracing acid line carried forth with vivid fruit. This one delivers all that and then some. Load up the cellar before it’s gone!
You’d pay $27 full price.

1x Twin Valleys Sparkling White 2023
Sparkling — Sparkling White
King Valley — Denmark
Only one of the 'Twin' valleys comes into play here with pinot and chardy being sourced from several vineyards in the King Valley. The cool nights along the river make for slow subtle ripening, exactly what we're after in grapes destined for the bubbly. Red apple, strawberry and earthiness are derived from the pinot component, whilst the chardy imparts flavours of fig, citrus and brioche to the wine. But don't get lost in the details, just pop the cork and enjoy a glass.
You’d pay $30 full price.

King Valley — Denmark
Like the exotic? Feeling adventurous? We hear ya, we all feel like a tropical break this time of year, but no need to head to a far-flung destination for your next break. This savvy b takes you on quite the journey. 1x Pyren Vineyards Tanwood Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay

Delightful and approachable. Green apple, citrus, pear, a touch of soft vanilla. On the palate, it's crisp and clean but ripe and weighty, papaya and grapefruit offer ripe tropical flavours and aromatics. The acid is lively and vibrant through the finish. This is a perfect wine to have on hand all summer long, fresh, exciting, energetic, and fruit driven - it'll go with anything and it'll please anyone.
