1x Reschke Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This family winery have been landowners in Coonawarra for over 100 years. They are Coonawarra experts and the jewel in their crown is, of course, cabernet sauvignon. Their wines consistently score highly with critics and this 2020 cellar release is a showcase of a deep understanding of the land and masterstroke winemaking.
The blackberry fruit concentration is immense and elevated by fine, dancing tannin. It wouldn't be Coonawarra without the marriage of mint and tobacco, rounding out mouth-feel and driving complexity. This is fantastic drinking now and will age gracefully for another decade.
You’d pay $65 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Pertaringa 'Belonging to the Hills' Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
An instant staple of the cellar. This one is completely irresistible. A normal afternoon tasting at the Mofo tasting bench was quickly interrupted when this wine was poured. Suddenly, all attention was caught, and the moment savoured. Bec Hardy, you've done it again. The Pertaringa name is no stranger to the Aussie household. The iconic Hardy family are to wine what vegemite is to toast: a perfect match. So, to land this beauty from the hands of Bec Hardy is monumental for us, and we couldn't be more pleased. This is McLaren Shiraz through and through, with densely packed dark chocolate and fresh roasted coffee exploding on the nose. The palate follows through just as true, layered with preserved plums, dark forest berries and a lick of vanillin softness. There's one word for this wine, and it's awesome.

1x Sorby Adams The Parish Hall St Aidan's Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
Absolutely textbook Australian shiraz - from the prized heart of the Barossa you'll find juicy and succulent excellence in a bottle full of those typical notes we love — pepper, spice and layers of dense, dark fruits. From the acclaimed valley floor in the heart of the Barossa you'll find soils which are rich in clay and sand - it is these sought after parcels that produces shiraz with the tell-tale power and lusciousness which has catapulted this region to world wide fame. This is Barossa shiraz that pulls no punches, full bodied, full of grunt and matured in French and American oak, that is drinking beautifully now and for the next 10+ years. This is a deadset crowd pleaser no matter the audience. Just make sure you have enough to go round, that is, if you are the sharing type, no judgement here.
You’d pay $60 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Ivyburn First Minister Shiraz 2022 750mL
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
This deeply personable shiraz expresses ripe red berries, black pepper, spice and blackcurrant . Full-bodied and complex, the ripe characteristics of rich, broad fruits, and overt chocolatey notes tell you that, odds are, you're in the great McLaren Vale region. In other words, this is a strikingly regional wine that expresses all that is great about this phenomenal region. Fragrant American oak is displayed with intensity and vibrancy and, along with an already present texture and structure, set this wine up for a very long life in the cellar. Drink now - 2035 (at least).
You ’d pay $55 full price.

Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
If you don’t know by now, we think it’s time for you to loop yourself in. The Pirramimma Limited Edition Shiraz comes from the fruit out of the famous “War Horse” and “Ironstone” blocks. The vines are old and what they lack in quantity (yield), they make up for in superb quality. Full bodied, but balanced with pepper and spice, there are just so many layers to discover in this wine. Laden with luscious, ripe blackberries, earthy blackcurrants, mocha, hints of cedar and a dollop of liquorice, you’re in for a treat with this divine, velvety red.

Tasting Notes
1x Jericho Sand Patch GSM 2023
Red — GSM
McLaren Vale — Australia
Bright, lively, juicy and spicy. Everything you could ask for in a modern McLaren Vale GSM. A delicate balance between ripe, sweet fruit and savoury, structured aspects. BBQs, pizza nights, park parties... whatever you're up to, this wine's up to the challenge.
A modern iteration of a South Australian classic. Ok, yes, GSM blends are a French invention, but they really have found a home in South Australia, more specifically McLaren Vale, more specifically again, Blewitt Springs. Vibrant, energetic, bright, cheery, lively... you get where we're going with this, this is a modern style, one to be enjoyed at a young age with yummy food and smiling company. A balance of savoury notes, subtle tannin and youthful, juicy, bright red fruit. Find us a red wine drinker who says they can't find the fun in this wine and we'll find you a liar. Made to be enjoyed.
You’d pay $45 full price.
