1x Wills Domain Yallingup Estate The Coveted Chardonnay 2020

White — Chardonnay

Margaret River — Australia

This is a producer who routinely knocks it out of the park - their stylistically perfect, speaking to both region and varietal to a T. If you were to close your eyes and conjure an image (with your tastebuds) of what you want Margs chardy to be, this is it.

You'd pay $60 full price.

1x Tempus Two Pewter Semillon 2014

White — Semillon

Hunter Valley — Australia

When it comes to aged sem, the first thing we want to notice is somewhat counter-intuitive; we want to see freshness leap out of the glass. This hits that brief immediately, a bouquet of white flowers and zippy lemon (almost lemon drop confectionary) that leads into a lanolin-like honeysuckle bit of complexity. A brilliant wine that is drinking perfectly at a decade old (or young) - weighty, chewy-yet-tart, lively and - dare we say it - still with a few flecks of green grass. This is a varietal masterclass - classic, poignant, proper sem. Salut!

You'd pay $43 full price.

1x Terra Verde Chardonnay 2018

White — Chardonnay

Tasmania — Australia

2018 was the vintage that Tassie winemakers dreamed of. Just enough rain and a long, sunny autumn. Perfect for those slow-ripening cool climate grapes. This chardonnay was hand-picked, whole-berry pressed and sent straight to barrel to ferment with wild yeast. Nine months resting on lees has built texture and complexity, resulting in a delicious wine spanning the spectrum from apple to stone fruit to nectarine to flint. A bit of vanilla and spice from the oak shines through as well.

You'd pay $45 full price.

1x Auld Family Wines Wilberforce Riesling 2022

White — Riesling

Eden Valley — Australia

Oh, the purity! We know riesling is a pretty honest grape, but this one has more integrity than you can poke a stick at. How did we get here? Well, the producer took the fruit from the cooler southern end of the Eden Valley and harvested it in the evening, allowing for grapes with perfect ripeness and no stress from excessive heat. This leads to balance, purity and intensity in a finished wine. There are floral notes on the nose, a chalky and minerally texture on the palate and flavours of lime and mandarin, leading to bright acidity on the finish. This is quintessential Eden rizza, refreshing and vibrant, only weighed down by the bling of reviews.

You'd pay $35 full price.

1x Sidewood Mappinga Chardonnay 2021

White — Chardonnay

Adelaide Hills — Australia

The Mappinga chardy is always hot property, and I couldn't be prouder to bring this wine to our mofos after all this time. Sidewood are masters of elegance, and this is exactly that: a fine balance between vibrant citrus and white stone fruit harmonised against the richer vanilla and melon characters. I mean, just read that review from Halliday Wine Companion and tell us you're not salivating. It's a no-brainer.

You'd pay $38 full price.

1x Twin Valleys Reserve Pinot Gris 2023

White — Pinot Gris

Alpine Valleys — Australia

Exuding elegance and charm, this is a gris that captivates all senses. Delicate floral aromas intertwine with the vibrant spiced pear fruit notes, cinnamon, and Meyer lemon, creating an inviting bouquet. Tensely balanced to provide both freshness and texure, this is really an ‘all-purpose’ wine for any food or mood.

Frequently Asked Questions

This curated collection exclusively features wines that have scored 95+ points from respected critics like James Halliday, Wine Orbit, and Winestate Magazine. The rarity factor is significant - these aren't your typical cellar door offerings but rather exceptional bottles that showcase the pinnacle of Australian white winemaking. Each wine has earned recognition through rigorous judging processes, with some achieving perfect scores of 98 points, making this selection a masterclass in premium white wine diversity.

The selection spans the classic triumvirate of Australian white wines - Chardonnay, Semillon, and Riesling - plus Pinot Gris for added complexity. You'll experience everything from the rich, buttery profiles of premium Chardonnay to the honeyed complexity of aged Semillon and the crisp minerality of cool-climate Riesling. This diversity allows you to explore how different varietals express terroir and winemaking philosophy, from the Margaret River's maritime influence to the Hunter Valley's unique Semillon tradition.

The tasting journey moves from bright citrus and green apple notes in the Riesling and younger wines, through to rich butterscotch and vanilla complexity in the barrel-fermented Chardonnays. The aged 2014 Semillon brings unique lanolin and honeysuckle characters that only develop with proper cellaring, while tropical notes of pineapple and stone fruit add another dimension. This flavour spectrum demonstrates how white wines can be just as complex and age-worthy as their red counterparts, challenging preconceptions about white wine diversity.

Assembling a collection where every single wine scores 95+ points is extraordinarily difficult in the wine trade, as these bottles are typically snapped up by collectors or held back by producers for special releases. Many of these wines come from small-batch productions or represent museum releases that aren't readily available through normal channels. The logistics of securing multiple high-scoring wines simultaneously, especially from different regions and producers, creates a perfect storm of rarity that makes this offer genuinely exceptional.

This multi-regional, multi-vintage approach creates a horizontal and vertical tasting experience that's invaluable for understanding Australian white wine excellence. You're comparing how different climates and soils influence the same varietals, while also experiencing how wines develop over time - particularly evident in the 2014 Semillon versus younger releases. This diversity showcases Australia's remarkable terroir range, from cool maritime climates to warm continental zones, demonstrating why Australian whites have gained such international recognition in recent years.
