Why do we love this case?
The wines that turned even the haughtiest of critics into star-struck fanpeople who mysteriously ‘forget to spit it out’ during a high-brow tasting panel. The concept behind this pack is pretty simple; there’s only one condition to entry - a 95 point or higher award. The vast majority need not apply. We already separate the wheat from the chaff here at the ‘fo. This is the artisan stonebaked masterwork that results.
2x School House 'Block C1' Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This wine truly shows the best of what the famed region has to offer, as it walks the tightrope between power and elegance with perfect poise. There are ripe dark fruits of plum and cassis, wrapped up in fine tannins and complimented by notes of toasty oak. It is intense, but also wonderfully balanced. We don’t need to say much about the ageing potential of cabernet with all that structure and tannin, just know that this one is ready to serve you for many (many) years to come.

2x Auld Family Wines 'The Ernie' Single Vineyard Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
96 points and a 4.2 Vivino Rating are absolutely nothing to shake a stick at. All the hallmarks of classic Barossa shiraz are right here. Generous, bold and packed full of flavour, we're unbelievably stoked with how this vintage is drinking (already)!
The Barossa Valley is home to quite a few multi-generational wine families. There are legacies as far as the eye can see, stretching across the Barossa plains and rooted as deep as the oldest vineyards. The Aulds are one such family, with the current generation Sam and Jock paying tribute to their lineage who were planting Australian vineyards in the mid 1800's. Each sip tells a story of sun-soaked vineyards, family traditions, and a relentless pursuit of quality. After the first taste of Ernie shiraz you won't be looking back.

2x Lienert Vineyards Dos Bros Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
Richly fruited and deeply enticing, this bad boy throws out waves of dark berries, potpourri, and roasted spice, all kept in line by and a good lick of cedary oak. Plump, powerful and plush, with a full-bodied warmth that’s lifted by sweet blackberry fruit and laced with earthy undertones, vanilla cream, and powdery tannins for added grunt. The finish is long, satisfying, and confidently structured. Put simply, this is a ripping wine, and it's going to be a ripping wine for many years to come.

2x Arila Gardens Moppa GSM 2022
Red — GSM
Barossa — Australia
This isn't just Barossa GSM - this is Moppa GSM. This humble Barossa sub-region has been pumping out belters like this one for years, and it seems like the wine world is only just catching on. Ken Gargett calls this a "flavour bomb for sure, but a terrific one" with impressive length finishing on silky tannins. We're completely obsessed with this wine - you will be too! Sam Kim awarded this gorgeous little wine 95 points, calling it "wonderfully ripe and fragrant" with dark berry, violet, mixed spice and roasted hazelnut aromatics leading to splendidly weighted palate offering succulent fruit with fleshy texture and fine-grained tannins. Silky, generous, with a lengthy velvety finish. Bright crimson with magenta hue catches the eye before fragrant dark cherry and musk plum fruit heightened by floral nuances and warm spice draw you in. Subtle but present oak in the creamy spectrum allows fruit fragrance to dominate. A bright glossy core of juicy dark cherry fills the palate with appetising length, fine powdery tannins building textural interest and gentle acidity knitting everything together with impeccable balance.

2x Hollick Old Vines Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
If you ever wanted a to show someone what 'Coonawarra' tastes like - this is it. Super concentrated old-vine cabernet from one of Australia's iconic masters of the grape. Rich dark fruits, classic eucalyptus, tobacco, spices - it's all here! When it comes to cabernet, we’re happy to drop some buzzwords - Coonawarra, old vine, terra rossa, French oak. Coonawarra is arguably Australia’s greatest cabernet region. Old vines make for concentrated flavours and lower yields. Terra rossa refers to the red soil of Coonawarra that gives its wines their distinct dusty, earthy characteristic. French oak provides that perfect cedary backbone that holds together the fruit profile of cab sauv so well. So expect blackcurrant, plum, spice and chocolate on the palate carried through into an elegant finish with fine lingering tannins. We might have gone a bit heavy on the buzzwords here, but they exist for a reason.
