Why do we love this case?
The wines that turned even the haughtiest of critics into star-struck fans who mysteriously ‘forget to spit it out’ during a high-brow tasting panel. The concept behind this pack is pretty simple; there’s only one condition to entry - a 95 point or higher score from a wine critic. The vast majority need not apply. We already separate the wheat from the chaff here at the ‘fo; this is the the cream of that already top-notch crop.
2x Dandelion Vineyards 'Lioness of the McLaren Vale' Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Dandelion Vineyards are one of those producers we have always admired: such a range of wines that really speak to quality and attention. So of course, McLaren Vale shiraz got us a little excited, and the wine really lived up to expectations. Densely laden with purity of fruit and a texture building oak profile: it's very hard to say no to a second glass of this gem.

2x Auld Family 'The Ernie' Single Vineyard Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
The Barossa Valley is home to quite a few multi-generational wine families. There are legacies as far as the eye can see, stretching across the Barossa plains and rooted as deep as the oldest vineyards. The Aulds are one such family, with the current generation Sam and Jock paying tribute to their lineage who were planting Australian vineyards in the mid 1800's. They know quality when they see it, and they never fail to hit the mark. We guarantee, one sip of the Ernie shiraz and you won't be looking back.

2x Angas King 1836 Reserve Shiraz 2017
Red — Shiraz
Clare Valley — Australia
Pure fruited and beautifully expressive. A masterclass in how excellent fruit – carefully handled by a world class winemaking team – can absolutely shine. Blueberries and plums overlay ripe blackcurrant and cherry. This is complex and powerful shiraz. A bit of age has given this wine some time to settle into itself, and the result is a beautifully balanced wine that still speaks to fresh, excellent quality fruit. This is Clare Valley shiraz doing what it does best: pure fruit expression without sacrificing oopmh or power in the process.
You’d pay $75 full price.

2x Reschke Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Smooth and rich Coonawarra cab? Say no more. We’re not going to talk to you like you don’t know what to expect, and instead we’re going to tell you why this wine is the next best thing. There’s everything you crave in the style: cocoa, minty, eucalypt mingling with blackcurrants aplenty. What’s that? Oh, in comes a smattering of smokey spice, a dollop of dark jammy fruits, and an emerging earthy tone that sets everything in its place.
You’d pay $55 full price.

2x Ulithorne Dona Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
One of our favourite producers from the Vale...the Vale’s top red variety...aged in seasoned French oak...we’re in! The older oak barrels have provided some texture and soft, savoury tannins. This ain’t a massive shiraz, but more one that highlights how silky, smooth and delicious shiraz from the Vale can be.

2x Haselgrove Cul Stor Shiraz Cabernets 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Multiple vintages of Haselgrove's Cul Stor shiraz blend have rushed into our warehouse and zoomed straight back out and to your front door faster than you can say ‘shiraz blended with cab sav and a splash of cab franc’. At its core, we have all the plush dark berries, plums and chocolatey goodness that you’d expect from Mclaren Vale. But the blend of cabernets is what lifts this drop way above entry level, firm tannins and a liveliness on the back palate provide wonderful length and serious structure; perfect to pair with your good old fashioned Sunday roast lamb with all the trimmings.
You’d pay $45 full price.
