FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Easy – you'll automatically join VIM after you make your first order. If you already have an account and have previously made purchases using it, all points from any purchases made in your current Membership Cycle will be automatically credited to your account.

Well… you've probably already worked it out, but you earn points by buying wine or spirits on our site.

The number of points earned on each transaction is shown on your order confirmation email and/or your account details page.

FYI, you don't earn points on shipping costs, redeeming vouchers, using credits, or on refunded orders.

You'll earn roughly 20-30 points for every $100 spent. To see the exact amount of points you get, add a wine to your cart and we'll tell you.

Accumulate enough points and you'll get promoted into the next loyalty tier. The higher your status, the greater the benefits!

Your points total gets reset each membership cycle. You can view when your cycle resets on your Account page.

Your Anniversary Date is the date that you placed your first order with us.

Your Membership Cycle always starts on your Anniversary Date. The Cycle spans from that start date until the day before that date in the following year. For example, if your Anniversary Date is 1 April, then your Membership Cycle will always span from 1 April to 31 March the following year.

Earn enough points within your Membership Cycle, and you'll go up a tier. Basically: the more you buy, the more benefits you receive.

If you earn enough points for a promotion, you'll be promoted to the next tier instantly! That means you can enjoy that status and its benefits for the remainder of that Membership Cycle, as well as your next Membership Cycle.

Retaining a tier for your next Membership Cycle is easier than earning it. Once earned, you need fewer points to retain a tier.

Your Account page will show you whether your current goal is to maintain your current tier or to reach the next tier.

If you don't reach the Status Credit requirement for your current tier before your Membership Cycle ends, you will move down one tier when your current Membership Cycle ends.

Note that you can only move down a maximum of one tier per Membership Cycle.

Birthday and anniversary vouchers will be sent two weeks before your birthday and Anniversary Date respectively. These are valid for 30 days.

In your VIM Account page, you'll see a section that shows your available benefits. Select the copy icon next to 'Your birthday gift' to copy the coupon code, and then paste it in the checkout when you're ready to complete your order.

Your VIM coupons refresh once every Membership Cycle.
