Vinomofo Wine Clubs

Subscribers to or users of Vinomofo club services are bound by the following, as well as Vinomofo’s general terms and conditions. See the specific terms of use for the following clubs below:

  • The Mofo Club

  • The Black Market Club

The Mofo Club

We’ll send you a dozen reds, whites or mixed wines, hand-selected exclusively for Mofo Club members after payment has been successfully made to Vinomofo.

You consent to being charged via direct debit on the credit card supplied by you every 1, 2 or 3 months, whichever you have selected, on an ongoing basis for as long as you are a member of the Club. Note that we do not store your credit card details on our website - they are held by Stripe, our secure third-party payment gateway. It is your responsibility to ensure your delivery address and credit card details are correct and valid - you can update them at any time on your Clubs account page.

You will only be able to use one credit card for all of your Club memberships. If you update your credit card for one membership, it will also update for any other Clubs you’re currently subscribed to.

If your payment fails on the scheduled processing date, we will attempt to process the payment again 1 day later. If your second payment attempt fails, we will try again 3 days later. We will advise you of these dates in an email sent to you after each payment fails.

If each attempted payment for a Club case fails and you contact us at a later time or date to make payment, we cannot guarantee availability of that month’s case.

All members are currently eligible for free shipping on their Club cases, however we reserve the right to alter this at any time.

Depending on the case you’ve chosen to receive (mixed, reds, or whites), you will have the choice to exclude one of two wine varietals from your ongoing subscription. These varietals have been chosen by our buying team and are based on the most common exclusion requests at the time of upgrading the Original Club to the Mofo Club. We currently aren’t able to tailor your case any further than this. We may change these options at our discretion.

We will start preparing your case 2 weeks prior to the processing date. During these 2 weeks, you will be unable to change your varietal preferences, as we will not have prepared an extra case of your newly chosen preference for you to receive.

There are limited memberships in the Club. If you want to sign up but there are no memberships available at that time, you will be placed on the waiting list. You’ll still be asked for your details upon signing up, so that when a membership becomes available, we can activate it straight away. We will release memberships periodically at our discretion. If you’re next in line when we release new memberships, you will receive an email notifying you that you have moved from the waiting list and now have an active membership. You will receive the next Club case when it processes and after that you will receive cases in accordance with your chosen frequency. Your account page will change to show that you now have an active membership and a timer with a countdown will show you when your next case will be processed.

Given we have limited memberships and a waiting list full of thirsty mofos, we reserve the right to remove a member from the Club if their membership is not in use or we are unable to process or safely deliver their scheduled cases. Examples of when this could occur include if you skip your scheduled case or your payment fails on multiple consecutive occasions, or if your credit card, address or contact details are incorrect or expired and this interferes with us being able to process your orders or safely deliver to you. In every instance, we will make all reasonable efforts to get in touch with you using the contact details saved on your account before making the decision to cancel your membership.

You can skip your next case or cancel your membership on your Clubs account page. You’ll be unable to do this yourself on the site within 2 weeks of your next Club case processing date, as that’s when we start to prepare your order. However, you can still skip or cancel at any time by contacting customer service.

We will contact you primarily via email to communicate important information about your membership. It is your responsibility to ensure that our emails are not being sent to your spam folder. If you are not receiving our emails in regards to your Club membership, please contact customer service.

We may alter the terms of or discontinue the Mofo Club at our discretion provided reasonable notice has been given. In such situations, we will contact you via the email address provided on your Vinomofo account to notify you of the changes or discontinuation.

The Black Market Club

We’ll send you a dozen mixed wines, hand-selected exclusively for Black Market Club members after payment has been successfully made to Vinomofo.

You consent to being charged via direct debit on the credit card supplied by you every 1 or 2 months, whichever you have selected, on an ongoing basis for as long as you are a member of the Club.
