Why do we love this whisky?
Tasmania is the spiritual (and actual?) home of Australian Whisky - and for good reason. The climate is perfect for ageing whisky for long periods, with little daily shift in temperature and less evaporation than our warmer states. This makes for some exceptional quality gear, and Callington Mill's state-of-the-art facility capitalises on this perfect climate. Their single malts are regarded as some of the best in the country, and their ability to control the quality of their spirit is all but unrivalled. This is excellent gear, get into it while it's around!
