Why do we love this whisky?
Don't be disillusioned, this is not a "blended" whisky. All the base malt is made on site by pot stills at Archie Rose's state-of-the-art facility in Sydney. Combining of two different grain malts, crafting the first ever "Double Malt" whisky, is a match made in heaven as the two styles compliment each other perfectly. High quality ingredients; an amazing oak treatment regime of ex-apera, ex-bourbon, and brand new American oak; and the perfect combination of Rye and Barley malt make for an intriguing, incredibly easy drinking dram.
