We dropped by Mills Reef in Tauranga (NZ) on a pretty bloody cold August day. We were, admittedly, quite hungover from the night before and collectively unenthused at the prospect of a day spent drinking more alcohol. That was until we tasted Tim Preston’s first class pinot noir.

Tim is the head winemaker at Mills Reef, and a top fella to boot. Incredibly talented, with whole bunch wine savvy and minimal bullshit , it’s no surprise he’s been crafting delicious vino for decades.

We got to quiz him on all things wine, talk about first times (getting drunk – stay out of the gutter), discuss career highlights and career fails, and just generally ask him inappropriate questions vaguely related to being a winemaker. He was an honest legend about it all, really.

Hey Kids!

Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence:

  • to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (penalty exceeds $23,000).
  • for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (penalty exceeds $900)

Liquor Licence No. 36300937

Seriously

At Vinomofo, we love our wine, but we like to also lead long and happy lives, and be good to the world and the people in it. We all try to drink responsibly, in moderation, and we really hope you do too.

Don’t be that person…
