On our recent expedition down south with the legends at Lonely Planet, we dropped by for a chat with Tassie wine expert, rowboat champion and head winemaker legend, Penny Jones.  

Penny knows the cool climate region of Tassie’s Tamar Valley like the back of a Bay of Fires wine label, so it’s no surprise the juice that comes out of the vineyard is so delicious. 

Having worked vintages around the world, she’s a smart, tough wine cookie with a palate to match. Oh, and she wants to drink with the guys from Black Books and once admits to getting drunk on cask wine. But you’re gonna have to watch the video to know more.
