Tremblay Marchive Envers de Valmur Chablis 2019
The Envers de Valmur vineyard sits next to the grand cru site of Valmur in Chablis and as you can imagine, produces some world-class chardonnay. The team at Tremblay Marchive give the grapes all the best treatment - handpicking them at optimal ripeness and guiding them into a wonderful wine. It is a racy and vibrant style, with only 30% of the wine seeing any oak, for six months. If you like the your Chablis with the classic hallmarks of bright minerality and lifted, zesty acid -this wine is sure to please.

“A slight notion of wet chalk appears alongside hints of lemon zest on this wine's fresh nose. Superbright and more open, the palate offers cooling, smooth chalkiness pervaded by lemony ripeness. It's a concentrated, elegant wine with depth.”
