Why do we love this wine?
Hunter Valley semillon. One of the few uniquely Australian wines on the market. What was once a youthful, light bodied wine has sat patiently in bottle for 6 years and developed into a rich, nutty, medium-to-full bodied beauty. This was a wine built to age, it asked patience of those who bought this at a young age. The aging is done, the development is in full swing and this wine no longer asks anything of the drinker, it just gives and gives and gives. Yes, this wine is raring and ready to go, but, not to brag, we did try some semillons from this producer dating back to the mid 90's and they were absolutely singing. Basically this wine will go forever and a day. Drink it whenever you want.
