Why do we love this wine?

The Barossa Valley is sneaky-good with semillon. It doesn’t get the same attention as those from the Hunter, but they are often just as good. This one comes off of I-kid-you-not 80 year old vines. Everything is done by hand with a natural ferment taking place in oak barrels, followed by extended contact on lees. This brings out texture, herbaceousness and ageability. It’s a wine for food, so grab some prawns or fish, cook them up to your liking, and pair them with a bottle of this. It’s the side of Barossa you don’t often see.

What is a Black Market deal?

Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
