Why do we love this wine?
“This is a pinot gris from the Adelaide Hills, I love this time of year because we start getting some of the 2017 vintages in. And when it comes to light, fresh, crisp and lean white wines – get ‘em while they’re young.” - Grant, Mofo Broker

“The difference between pinot gris and pinot grigio, for those of you that don’t know, pinot gris is just picked a little bit later. So it’s a richer style and you’re going to get a little more generosity on the palate. A little more fleshy; a little more full.”

“It’s probably also paired a little bit better with food, which is what I always look for. Think crunchy white bread, a big hunk of soft cheese, even a foie gras if I am to be so snobbish.”

“This wine was made by Tim Knappstein, and you South Australians probably know that name pretty well as he’s a bit of a cult figure over there. He does a lot of really great things with wine, but if you don’t want to take my word for it just grab yourself some of this and it’ll set you straight for the rest of Spring.”
