Why do we love this wine?
Eden Valley riesling's capacity to age is a wonderful thing. What was once a light-bodied, racy wine has sat in a dark cellar for over 10 years and come out singing like a minstrel. This wine has become a whole different beast. A complex, mouth-coating wine with a flavour profile ranging from freshly squeezed lemon juice and lime cordial all the way to honey roasted nuts, lanolin and dried herbs. To us, the most interesting, and arguably most impressive, thing about this wine is the capacity to hold it's zippy acid, bright minerality and intense fruit flavours. This one's ready to go and begging for a seafood platter or cheese board. It's already waited 10+ years, let's not make it wait any longer.
