So today we’re drinking the Begude chardonnay which is from the Limoux Valley, a part of the wider Languedoc region, in France. So this is a really cool producer actually, it all started with an English guy who moved to France about a decade ago, began a real love affair, and has been making wine ever since.. - Kate, Head Wine Buyer

He makes all his wine organically, so it ticks that box, and his wine just really showcases the Limoux Valley and the kind of chardonnay you can create there. 

It’s quite lightly oaked, it’s had a little bit of barrel ferment which gives it that little bit more richness. But for the most part, it’s crunchy green apples, citrus fruit, really lovely minerality and a delicious crispy, dry finish.
