Why do we love this wine?
The Plat’bos vineyard will celebrate its 44th birthday this year. It’s planted over decomposed granite and sees one of the earliest chenin harvests in the region. This wine has an exquisite nose with notes of flowers and dried herbs ahead of lime, lemon and white peach. The palate, meanwhile, is crystalline – wonderfully pure and focused with great energy and length. It hits the target with pinpoint accuracy.
