Coopers Creek Hexton Hills Chardonnay 2019
- Textural
- Gisborne
It’s no secret that Cooper’s Creek does a lot of heavy lifting for us here in terms of New Zealand chardonnay. Their bigger, richer style has been a huge hit with our mofo’s. This single vineyard chardy is creamy, powerful, balanced and intense. The entire spectrum is seen here, with overt expressions of nectarine, grapefruit, lemon, cashew and oatmeal. A lingering finish and surprising elegance round out the package, making for another big winner from the crew at Cooper’s Creek.

Region
Gisborne
NZ's most easterly region revels in its relatively new fame for great Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Gewurztraminer. Cult producers like Millton have started to put this region on the world map for good reason.
