Why do we love this wine?
More chardy from one of our favourite Yarra Valley wineries - this husband and wife duo just keeps on producing the goods. This is made with a relatively hands-off approach meaning the vineyard, variety, and region can really shine through. And do they ever. Piercing cool-climate acidity flanked by rich, saline, cheesiness punching up the centre of the palate. Lemon myrtle and almond dust mingle for a sweet and savoury sensation. Stone fruits, citrus, white flowers. ‘The whole shebang’ I think is the official wine-term. Like a lot of Yarra Valley chardy this is super limited, so get it while the gettin’s good.
