Chardonnay 2017 – Black Market Deal #36691

Truth be told, I stand for this producer in a serious way. And this is only the second time we’ve gotten access to any of their chardonnay. It’s beautifully balanced Macedon juice - complex but not heavy, showing lemon custard, cut grass, ginger, brioche, white peach, wet stone and key lime. Just layer upon layer of flavour ranging from bright fruits to secondary notes. Can you tell I’m excited? Is it not obvious?

Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
