Dang! This Chardonnay has everything and then some. A vibrant peaches and cream nose let you know you’re drinking chardonnay and the acid speaks clearly of Tumbarumba’s cold nights. In the winery, a combination of lees stirring and French oak have given the wine weight and texture, but it’s still super friuty in a grown-up Chardonnay way. Four years old, this wine is drinking very well and will be for at least another four.
What is a Black Market deal?
Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.

Recognised as one Australia's coldest wine regions, Tumbarumba is a hidden gem. Located on the periphery of the Riverina and South West Slopes regions, it's nestled comfortably on the western edge of the Snowy Mountains and is known as one of the country's most remote wine regions. Fairly young, Tumbarumba's first vines were planted in 1982 and 1983 and 75% of the regions total plantings are premium, cool climite Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
