Maison Montgermont Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Noir NV

It’s fair to say that this represents incredible value.  Crémant de Bourgogne is always made in the traditional method of Champagne and this example, a Blanc de Noir, is mostly pinot noir with some gamay included. It’s quite complex with a nose of strawberry, blueberry and toasted almonds. There’s some fleshiness (think red berries) on the palate and the finish is dry and cleansing. If you’re trying to toe the line between serious and casual with your bubbles, this’ll fit that mould perfectly.
