Cava Particular Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature
- Crisp, fine
- Cariñena
We talk in some pretty weird terms sometimes. And yep, sometimes there’s a lot of french in there, too. Let’s make this digestible for you and me, mofo: we’re talking about a complex sparkling wine from Spain’s north east corner, made the traditional french way. Blanc de Noirs means you’re getting a clear coloured sparkling, made entirely from grenache (a grape that is as favoured in Spain as it is for us Aussies)! You best bet that imparts some red fruits and a rich core that is somehow more full and textural than many of it’s peers. Still so fresh, so perfect for a twilight hour drop.

“Cava can be divisive, I get it. When there's so much on offer, it can be hard to know what to look for. I'm here to tell you that since trying this Blanc de Noirs style, I might just demand that I drink more sparkling wines made with our familiar friend: grenache. Much more generous in style than many Cavas thanks to the strawberry and cherry notes from the red grape, matched perfectly with a fresh, zippy citrus line”
