They’ve been making wine for a very, very long time - like, tracing their winemaking lineage back to the 1300s long time - and it shows in the glass. You can only make wines like this if you know he land, and the craft, like the back of your hand. Fantastic.

Why do we love this wine?
Aromatically, it leans into ripe plum and spicy cherry, lifted and inviting rather than heavy. The palate is where it really settles in. Soft, fleshy fruit through the middle, chewy but friendly tannins, and a gentle chalky grip that keeps things interesting and food-ready. It’s smooth, generous and easy to enjoy, but there’s enough structure there to remind you it’s been made properly. This is a must-have with charcuterie, tomato-based pastas, pizza or anything off the barbie. A proper all-rounder shiraz from a producer who knows exactly what they’re doing - and has been for centuries.
