Why do we love this wine?

I was told it’s not supposed Te Mata. But it does, it matters a lot. Kiwi syrah was trailblazed by wines like this one, this is the 25th vintage of Bullnose so we’ve got 25 cases up for grabs. Elegant, spicy, smoky bacon, berries. All brightness and crunch. Starts out tight but shows off its hidden peacock feathers (aka flavour layers) as it opens up, and will look all the better with a few more years of life in bottle. From Te Mata’s stable, you know it’ll last a good decade or more in a good cellar. Or one tipsy trip to the cellar... don’t be that person.
