Why do we love this wine?
Old vine Barossa Shiraz with a bit of age? Count us in. Dark and dense, and brimming with abundance. A myriad of black and blue fruit that unfurls as it breathes in the glass. The aromas are heady and complex with chocolatey notes and lashes of vanilla and sweet spice. A few years cellar time has allowed the fruit to develop to a rich and ripe point, giving the core of the wine real power and opulence. Pepper and juniper aromas poke their heads out from what is an overwhelmingly (and delightfully) fruit driven wine. Ripe tannins and juicy acidity give shape and structure. A shiraz with everything on offer. No need to stand on ceremony, this is right in the sweet spot, just grab your favourite glass (required) and your favourite person (optional) and drink it in.
