Shiraz 2017 – Black Market Deal #35670
- Medium bodied
Prototypical Pyrenees shiraz through and through - it’s bright, brambly, rich and smooth. The fruit spectrum shows strawberry, blueberry and cherry with secondary characteristics of licorice, spices and violets all with a creamy underlayer and chewy tannins for structure. In terms of provenance, the fruit comes from the most well-known Pyrenees vineyard (probably the only one you may have heard of), but this is a secret deal so we won’t say the name. All in all, a fragrant, lifted and gorgeous shiraz with plenty of oomph behind it. Yum!
What is a Black Market deal?
Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
It’s cool, we get it, you want to know absolutely everything about this wine. Well here you go, go nuts.
