Pirramimma's take on a classic Australian blend - cabernet/shiraz. These two grapes just go perfectly together, there's a reason that Penfolds use this particular blend for their world-famous Grange. Now we're not saying this is THAT premium but with a 4.2 Vivino score, Pirramimma have surely done something right.

Why do we love this wine?
Here’s another vintage of this absolutely divine wine. Pirramimma are a fave of many (many, many) a Mofo, this time delivering their all-Aussie blend of cabernet and shiraz. From three of their best vineyards, including Ironstone, and some vines planted back in the 1950's, this wine shows off arguable the best vines of the region. Winemaker Geoff Johnston describes the wine as “a fine balance of the sweeter fine-tuned cassis of cabernet, with the plummy, blueberry and black cherry savoury notes of juicy shiraz". Couldn’t have said it better myself. If you’ve had the chance to enjoy any of the Pirramimma wine in the past, then you know, this is sure to impress.
