Pinot Noir 2017 – Black Market Deal #39397
- Elegant, lighter
- Marlborough
One of New Zealand’s best producers makes this pinot as a bit of a fun side project. No doubt you’ve seen it around the traps. It’s in that ‘crack open and drink now’ kinda style, spilling over with cherry and raspberry. Dig a little deeper and you’ll get to some earthiness, sage and tea leaf. Plenty of complexity to keep your gears turning, but still sitting firmly in the quaffable range. So there’s no hesitation to crack one open with lunch or even put a little chill on it for a warm day when you still feel like a glass of red.

What is a Black Market deal?
Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
It’s cool, we get it, you want to know absolutely everything about this wine. Well here you go, go nuts.
