2017 was a long and cool season, so the grapes had the time to develop complexity, and following fermentation, the wine spent 18 months in French and American oak. This patience in the vineyard and cellar have created a wonderful wine, full of spice and tannins. It’s slightly lighter than your average South Aussie red at 13.7% and this elegance makes the wine a hit with and without food.
