H.J. Fabre Reserva Malbec Cabernet Franc 2020
- Rich, full-bodied
- Mendoza
Argentina is rightly famous for malbec, but they’re far from the only string to its bow. Variety is the spice of life, they say, and they do some damn good things with cabernets (amongst others) there, too. Not ready to abandon malbec completely, though? How about a compromise? Mix it up with a malbec cab franc blend.

“Inkky dark and opaque. Pronounced aromas of mulberry, plum and blackberry leaf. Lots of spice on palate, white pepper and graphite minerality with a grippy finish. Complex and long.”
