El Enemigo Syrah Viognier 2019
- Rich, full-bodied
- Mendoza
El Enemigo is easily one of the most exciting producers from Mendoza. They are best known for cabernet franc, but they do some amazing things with malbec (of course), chardonnay and of course syrah! This syrah has a touch of viognier, much like how they do it in the Northern Rhône. The wine has structure and power with aromas of black fruits, tobacco and spice. On the palate it’s quite concentrated but not overbearing at all, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Incredibly moreish. Buy this. Trust us. We’ve tasted it

Reviews
James Suckling
“A medium-to full-bodied red with aromas of black plum, black raspberry, orange zest, wild herbs and sandalwood. Very fine, seamlessly integrated tannins carry fragrant layers of dark fruit. Complex, zesty and deliciously spiced. Drink now or hold.”
Full price $75.00 from the producer.
