Domaine Anita Moulin-à-Vent La Rochelle 2020 – Magnum
- Textured, savoury
- Beaujolais
The mythical windmill overlooking this Boje Grand Cru must’ve seen some wonderful wines in its time. And this has to be up there. It shows a wedding-worthy bouquet of cherries and plums, lifted by violet petal perfume, and anchored by earthiness that’s classic to gamay. It’s gorgeously chewy, and generously fruited, leaving nothing to chance in terms of satisfaction.

Reviews
James Suckling
“This Beaujolais masterpiece is so concentrated and so pure, with lush, velvety sensuality that reminds me of great Pomerol. But there’s also almost breathtaking brightness, thanks to the magical combination of gamay and granite. Great mineral freshness at the ripe yet pristine finish. Drink or hold.”
It’s cool, we get it, you want to know absolutely everything about this wine. Well here you go, go nuts.

Oh Beaujolais, how we love you! Known for growing the delicious Gamay grape, this French wine region is located just north of Lyon. While administratively considered part of the Burgundy wine region and the climate here is close to the Rhône - the wine is unique unto itself.
