We’re not ones to tell you what to do, but we think you should be drinking this wine. Why? Forget the royal lineage of this winery; the prime vineyard real estate it sits on; that it is, after all, a Margaret River cabernet. It’s just bloody delicious, plain and simple. 16 months in French oak, a portion of it new, has rounded any harsh edges and delivered a bold, focused loveable drop of red. Some smokey tar flavours offset blue and black berries that run through the core of the wine from nose to finish. In all honesty, you’d be silly not to give it a go.
