Why do we love this wine?
This is a wine that speaks loudly and proudly of the vineyard. Careful management of the old vines – some of the first cabernet vines in Barossa mind you – has delivered a bright, complex, concentrated and generous wine. Perfumed and uber varietal, there are the classic aromas of cassis, dark berries & plum, overtones of spice and tobacco leaf too, which carry over to the long savoury palate that lingers well after the wine is gone.
