Why do we love this wine?
Don't let the cellar time fool you, this is a lively little number. Rich cranberry and cherry ripe into fruit leather, aniseed, and oak. The wine is layered and textural and savoury with real breadth on the palate - full and succulent. The age has given the wine tertiary nuances of decay, dried leaves, and a tea-leaf aromatic, without robbing it of freshness and exuberance. This is right in the sweet spot, so tuck in.
