Margaret River rarely has a challenging vintage but the 2014 had nothing short of exceptional growing conditions, particularly for cabernet. Beautifully balanced, wonderfully vibrant and patiently matured, this is a really special drop. Both the bouquet and the palate are chocka-block-full of ripe cassis, blackberry, bay leaf and countless other varietal characteristics. Fine-grained tannins and a vibrant acidic structure close out proceedings and push through for a lingering finish with discernible hints of sweet oak. A classy wine with a beautiful mouthfeel and exemplary fruit concentration. You won't be disappointed.
