Why do we love this wine?

The brand new 2017 vintage of this silky, voluptuous shiraz just landed at the ’fo, and we’re quite excited for you to try it. This wine shows how great wine doesn’t need to be old, and that the best time to drink this is now - right now, and over the coming few months. Again, and again, and again. Stock up accordingly.

Made by a seriously talented team, it comes from a brilliant biodynamic vineyard in the Vale. I’ve seen both the vineyard and the winery in action, and they’re full of the most important things - people who care... care to watch the vines day in, day out, for signs of stress, and preempt their needs; care to gently handle the fruit with gravity and peristaltic pumps. No expense is spared in making this wine the best version of a great vineyard, all the way into the bottle.

2017 was kind to McLaren Vale vintners, and lent itself extremely well to this kind of plush, fruit-driven red. While this will improve over the next few years, it’s made to be ready to rock now, so don’t slow your roll.

Homie.

We can’t reveal the brand of this wine on our site. It’s a promise we made to the producer and that’s how we secured the deal. You still get the real McCoy – no cleanskins, no knockoffs, just top shelf vino at up to 70% off. Trust us, you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
