Why do we love this wine?

Since first launching in 2011, Art of War has morphed, evolved and improved over the years and has really stamped its authority in 2014. It’s a delicate balance of power and poise - everything you’d expect from Barossa shiraz made by one of the region’s heroes.

This vintage sees the power and intensity of northern Barossa fruit chiselled into a more elegant, subtle style than previous releases. It remains typical of shiraz produced by Teusner - rich and extremely generous but there’s a gentle touch to it.

The use of older oak sees the spotlight firmly focussed on the fruit. Blackberry and blueberry feature on a vibrant palate framed by charry oak. It’s exciting, the fruit is gorgeous and theres a refreshingly bright texture to keep you engaged. Intense, rich, vibrant and beautifully structured this is more art than war.

Art can be polarising. This Art of War however, confidently meets high expectations of the most thorough critic and consumer alike.
