So, Winerie Parisenne ya say? Yep - they were the first winery to set up in Paris, bringing in fruit from other regions and making wine in the city. In this case, it's classic Provence rosé - light, bright, fun and packed in a very fancy bottle. We like these guys - city meets country - and crafters of just delicious wine!

Elegant

Mimi Flamingo may be a premium chardonnay, but that’s not to say she’s without attitude. She’s a hand-picked, whole-bunch-pressed sass machine. Mimi epitomises everything we hold dear here at the ’fo - good wine, made by talented winemakers, that tells a great story. Bright and perky, Mimi opens with fresh grapefruit and lime. The wonderfully pure fruit is balanced by perfect French oak treatment. There’s heaps of complexity there. Gentle aromas of cloudy apple juice and just-cut white peach, followed by a gently hazelnut finish. You can pop it down in the cellar, too. Of course you can, it’s an Oakridge wine.

Pizzini are one of THE names in Victoria's King Valley. They make magic with Italian varieties, and this prosecco rosé is no exception. The wine is fresh, bright and dry, but with an undercurrent of strawberries, raspberries and savouriness. It comes across as the tiniest bit rich yet still cleansing. A rare style, we think you'll love pink prosecco.

Listen up, you sparkling fiends. This prosecco won gold at the Prosecco Masters in London. That’s right, the Prosecco Masters. Sounds impressive, right? I like to imagine the event much like the Olympics, but for wine, which makes this Prosecco the Usain Bolt of the bubbles world. Hailing straight outta Italy, this beauty has been hand-crafted with the best Glera grapes born and raised in the Veneto region, making it a floral delight jam packed with golden apple, lemon and a whisper of wisteria. How magical.

We love Eden producer Brothers At War and it seems that James Halliday does too - giving them 99 points on their 2018 single vineyard grenache! This elegant Rosé is made from Eden Valley sangiovese and grenache - pale pink in colour, on the nose this wine shows strawberries and rose petals. On the palate, you get the same strawberries accompanied by citrus fruits with a dry mineral finish. Mum loves it.

Jeanneret have made a superb young riesling from a couple of lofty vineyards in Clare. Not a steely citrus taste bud assault, but more approachable and friendly. Watch out for grapefruit pith, meyer lemon flesh and white peach, with fresh chopped herbs. It’s fine and clean, with just enough sweetness to do its job with style.
