The Upgrade Case - Maison Montgermont Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs NV
- Crisp, fine
We all know the expression about dangling a carrot in front of someone. But what if this entire case of wine is ‘carrots’ so to speak? We are talking about French bubbles (and from Burgundy no less). All you can really do is dangle an even bigger carrot we suppose. So that’s what we did.
You’ll get 11 bottles of Maison Montgermont Blanc de Blancs, probably enough in itself to make this case find its way to your cart. But why stop there? We’ve added the ultimate carrot, a bottle of their Cremant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs, which is nothing short of a showstopper. All carrots, no sticks...that’s how we roll.
What’s in the Case?
Each case contains the following:
1 bottle of Maison Montgermont Cremant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs NV
This is 100% chardonnay from the Côte Chalonnaise elevated in form by way of the traditional Champagne method. 30 months on lees have given this weight and texture along with an intricate layering of flavours. Quince, apple and brioche are evident on the nose. The palate follows through with strawberry, peach and mango, all leading to a dry, elegant finish. You could pay a lot more for a sparkling wine of this quality and complexity, but why?
YOU’D PAY $50 full price.
