You get the full spectrum of red, black, and blue fruit and it dives deep into all of them; raspberries, strawberries, plums, blueberries, currant, cassis, bramble, black cherry... new flashes of fresh fruited goodness revealing themselves as the wine breathes. Beneath that is the classic cabernet styling of tobacco, cedar, twiggy savoury-ness, and spice.

I love this wine for its gnarled, pulpy fruit beset against the stylish oak treatment and the ripe tannin structure. Big and brash and packin' heat; this is a wine for lovers of all things overt. The fruit is grounded in the blacks and the blues - plum, blueberry, black cherry - but it's all so beautifully developed without losing taut acidity and freshness. This is a wine to be looked at and enjoyed form many years to come.
