Howard Park make some cracking rieslings, to put it simply. This one comes from their vineyards in Mount Barker, which has shown exceptional ability to grow this Aussie fave white variety. Fresh and textural, like biting into an apple or pear in peak season. As James Halliday said about this wine, “this is fit for the journey”. Whatever that journey, all that’s left to do is choose yours and let Howard Park take you there.

We are still wondering if this “Golden Hillside” is an actual place, or a mythical place of the gods. The riesling from the Hillside is nothing short of heavenly, from the high vineyards of Clare Valley, offering such an otherworldly balance of drool-worthy lime and sunshine-soaked lemons, refreshing minerality and cloudlike complexity.

All Saints do a lot of great things up in Rutherglen. In fact, if this is the first time you've had the pleasure of tasting one of their wines, we would suggest you make it a mission to get your hands on many more. Like, right now. Let this young and bright riesling show you why they're powerhouses of the region. Crisp citrus fruits meet the florality of jasmine and honeysuckle, finishing with a powerful acid that will have you salivating. Perfect pairing for fish and chips on a Friday evening.

When we find a treasure that our mofos love, we keep going back for more. Here’s the fourth vintage of this Clare riesling that we’ve featured and the first three were a roaring success. It comes from one of the rising stars of the region and hits all the notes you’ve come to expect. It’s bursting with citrus, minerality and texture. Riesling from Clare is renowned for its bracing acid line carried forth with vivid fruit. This one delivers all that and then some. Load up the cellar before it’s gone!

Skilly Valley, a subregion on the western side of Clare, enjoys just the same elevation but some slightly different soils (sandy clay-loam over a broken quartz) to the rest of the region. This gives subtly different nuances to the wines as compared to other Clare bottles. There are bright aromas of orange blossom and cool minerality on the nose, followed by a sweetly peachy and tropical fruit rich palate. If this sounds like a recipe for flabbiness, think again. The acidity here is electric, leaving you pleasantly refreshed with every sip.

Unique wines with unique stories is what we’re all about. We know that Adelaide Hills make seriously elegant wines, and we know how much we love rizza. Now bring the two together, and you’ve got yourself some great juice. This one shows up somewhere between a German and Aussie style: superbly fragranced with apple and white floral aromas, while still offering that zippy citrus character we know and love. It’s instantly pleasing, in the best way. No pondering needed, this is a wine that can easily be polished off with Friday night fish & chips, or just a solo night in.
